This May, Vantage Spaces invites you to step into something more than a showroom.
As part of Clerkenwell Design Week 2026, Vantage is transforming its Clerkenwell showroom into an immersive exploration of biophilic design – a space that doesn’t just showcase products, but demonstrates a philosophy in action.

At the heart of this year’s experience is a celebration of the work of Stephen R. Kellert, a pioneer of biophilic design whose thinking continues to shape how we understand the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit. Ten years on from his passing, his principles feel more relevant than ever.
Workplaces are being reimagined. Expectations have shifted. And the need to create environments that genuinely support wellbeing, creativity and connection is no longer a ‘nice to have’ – it’s essential.

Kellert’s research made one thing clear: people thrive when they feel connected to nature. Not superficially, but in ways that are integrated, meaningful and considered.
This idea forms the foundation of Vantage’s showcase.
Throughout the three days, visitors will be able to explore the showroom at their own pace or join guided tours running every hour from 10:00. These sessions will offer insight into how inspired planting schemes are created and how they directly relate to Kellert’s core biophilic principles.

It’s a chance to experience how biophilic design can move beyond simple gestures – a plant in the corner or a green wall – and instead become part of the architectural language of a space. Through carefully considered planting schemes, natural materials and spatial contrasts, the showroom reflects the depth and intent behind Kellert’s thinking.
The result is a workplace vision that feels calmer, more connected and more human.
It’s also a powerful reminder of the wider impact of biophilic design. When applied with intent, these principles have been shown to reduce stress, enhance focus, improve mood and increase productivity. In other words, designing with nature isn’t just good for people; it’s good for business.
Our approach reflects this deeper understanding. Rather than applying biophilia as an aesthetic layer, we integrate planting and natural systems into the fabric of a space – aligning design, performance and wellbeing from the outset.

Clerkenwell Design Week provides the perfect platform to experience this thinking first-hand.
From 19–21 May, visitors are invited to explore the Vantage showroom at the Bloom Building on Cowcross Street, with refreshments available throughout the day for all guests.
This is more than a display. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with what great spaces should do – support people, inspire creativity and bring us closer to the natural systems we’re inherently part of.
Register to attend here, or book a tour with us. We look forward to seeing you there!
